More Than Just Youth Exchange

Become active in sustaining the partnership between the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference (KO) and the Evangelische Landeskirche in Baden, Germany (EKIBA or the Protestant Church of Baden).

The partnership between KO and EKIBA is an incredible opportunity to deepen our relationships and build connections with another part of the Body of Christ. Through this partnership, people of all ages have gotten to participate in the life-changing experience of seeing the world beyond ourselves; thus enabling us to see the world from a much larger perspective.

The way partnerships in the UCC work is that the visiting church pays the cost of travel and the receiving church pays the costs of hosting. Once the guest arrives, the associated expenses are the responsibility of the host church. KO, when persons travel for KO partnerships from congregations, the costs will be shared by the person, the congregation where they are members and the Conference. Hosts then welcome guests into worship, sightseeing, and education through experience. This is, as always, another expression of our ongoing partnership with local congregations.
